Brick Breaker
Bounce the ball off your paddle to smash through five handcrafted brick walls, some of which take several hits.
A classic bat-and-ball challenge. The ball launches from your paddle, ricochets off the walls and ceiling and breaks any brick it touches. Where the ball strikes the paddle decides its new angle: hit it near the edge to send the ball sharply sideways, or near the middle to send it straight up.
Bricks come in three strengths, shown by colour. Cyan bricks vanish in one hit, purple bricks need two and pink bricks need three. The five levels use different layouts, from a plain wall to checkerboards with armoured rows, and the ball is a little faster on each one.
You have three lives. Letting the ball fall past the paddle costs one, clearing a level awards a bonus that includes a small reward for each life left, and clearing all five levels wins the game.
How to play
Move the paddle with the mouse, your finger or the keyboard. Launch the ball with a click, tap or the Space bar, then keep it in play and clear every brick to advance to the next level.
